Data Governance &
Privacy Framework

Transparency is the baseline of algorithmic trust. This policy outlines how Kyotokinetic manages information as we develop high-performance AI analytics and predictive modeling solutions.

Information Acquisition

Kyotokinetic collects information to facilitate our consulting engagements and improve our digital ecosystem. This acquisition occurs through two primary channels:

Direct Submissions

Information provided when you request a consultation, sign up for our data science whitepapers, or contact our Kyoto lab directly via email.

Automated Telemetry

Technical data including IP addresses, browser types, and engagement patterns used to optimize our site performance and security protocols.

Processing & AI Analytics

Our core business involves **AI analytics**. While the majority of our modeling is performed on anonymized or synthetic datasets, we ensure that any personal data used for training or validation is treated with the highest tier of confidentiality.

We do not sell personal data to third-party brokers. Data is shared with high-performance computing providers only when necessary for the execution of a specific algorithmic simulation, and always under strict non-disclosure agreements.

International Compliance (APPI & GDPR)

Operating from Kyoto, we comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI). For our global partners, we also align our data science workflows with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards.

  • Right to rectification and erasure.
  • Right to restrict algorithmic processing.
  • Right to data portability in structured formats.

Data Retention Policies

We retain information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of professional consulting or as required by Japanese law. For typical inquiry data, we maintain records for a period of 24 months, after which they are purged or permanently de-identified within our **predictive modeling** pipelines.
